This TE filter also known as a Telequip Filter is probably the best inline filter you can buy if you happen to run into problems with panasonic phones or other phones that have noise level problem. ie: You can't hear the person on the other end of the phone very good.
If you contact panasonic regarding your phone's volume level, ie: 'my phone is quiet since I had adsl enabled on it' ..
Panasonic will suggest you use a DSL002 to fix this issue.
